Ezekiel 39:22

The house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from that day forward.

Israel was not left to wonder. God said they, “shall know that I am the Lord their God.” In plenty and want, in the storms and clears skies, in the times of great blessings or weighed down with heavy burdens, through it all they would know that the Lord was their God.

Some days we just aren’t feeling it.

We feel forsaken, forgotten, and alone. We live under discouragement, even depression. We feel like we have to figure things out on our own. But we can’t…and we don’t have to. Our God loves us with an unconditional love and forgives us when we fail. His truth transcends our feelings. Regardless of our emotions we know that he is our God. We can always celebrate his work in our lives.

Talking to God

Father, remind me throughout my distracted day that you are the Lord my God. Your activity in me and around me never ceases. Help me to acknowledge you and celebrate life with you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
