Deuteronomy 32:3-4

I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

Do you feel like your life has been shaken? Your health is failing, the prodigal child has not come home, your marriage is going through tough times, your job is going away? Those things and many others can cause our world to shake and our legs to weaken. During these times we need something to hold onto. We need a rock . . . like our God.

He will never be shaken by circumstances or shift with the inevitable challenges of life. Security is found in him alone. All his works are perfect. He does not make mistakes. “Oops!” is not in his vocabulary. All his ways are just. “Unfair” can never describe him. He is faithful. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He will always have your back.

Do you feel like your life has been shaken? Let me introduce you to the Rock. He is the loving God who desires an eternal relationship with you. He is the gracious God who longs to show you favor. He is the caring God who wants to protect you. He is the One who brings light to the darkness, calmness to anxiety, courage to a heart filled with fear. Don’t you think it’s time to quit trusting in yourself and cling to the Rock?

Heavenly Father, we proclaim your name. We praise your greatness. You are our Rock. Your works are perfect. Your ways are just. You are the faithful God who does no wrong. You are upright and just. We love you! We are privileged to be called your children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
