Psalm 80:14-19  
Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself. Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish. Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, LORD God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.

Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! I don’t want this marriage to break up. Please work in my spouse’s heart. Show me where I need to change.

Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! I am surrounded by people yet feel so alone. Help me find the perfect peace that results from keeping my focus on You.

Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Lord, this illness is taking its toll. I am tired and scared. I pray for a good report from the doctor and renewed health. 

Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Father, the job search has been long and fruitless. I am pursuing and networking and getting very discouraged. Please help me secure the means to support my family. 

Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! My child is far from You. I fear for them and the path they are on. I am afraid that they will make some irreversible decisions. 

God Almighty, I pray that You will return to Your powerful work in my heart. I invite You to take over my life. I want what You have for me. Please look down from heaven, see my desperate state, and come to my aid. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
