Job 37:16

Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge….

God’s knowledge is universal. He knows everything there is to know about everything there is to know. God’s knowledge of all things is complete. He doesn’t need to study; there is nothing for him to learn. He knows what will happen tomorrow and one hundred years from tomorrow.

God’s knowledge is personal. God knows everything there is to know about you. He knows how much you love him and how you desire to please him. He knows your weaknesses and the sins that trip you up. He knows the secret sins you thought were hidden deep in your heart. He knows your worst thoughts and your greatest fears and still loves you.

God’s knowledge is unconditional. Think of it! He knows everything about you and loves you anyway. He sent his Son to make you his child. God’s knowledge about you doesn’t cause him to turn away and reject you. He promises that nothing can separate you from his love. God knows you intimately and loves you deeply. There is no need to hide what’s on your heart.

• Tell him that you trust him with the answers—whatever they may be.

Father, it’s an amazing truth that you know all of my desires, thoughts, and fears, and still love me. Thank you for your amazing love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
