Psalm 25:1-7

To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!

God has your back. You can trust him. No matter what we’re going through he has us covered. No one who hopes in him will “be put to shame.” It’s no contest when he is on our side.

God has your back. You can trust him. He is the Great Instructor. He will keep us on the right path. He is your Savior. You can place your hope in him all day long and he will never disappoint.

God has your back. You can trust him. His love is unconditional. He is merciful. He will not give us what we deserve. He will forgive past sins and throw them in the depths of the sea.

Talking Points

  • Thank God for always having your back—for being on your side, for keeping you on the right path, for his grace and mercy.
  • Pray that God will show his presence, direction, and goodness to your children today wherever they are and whatever they are going through.

Thank you, Lord, for always having my back. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
