Psalm 146:6-10
He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

He fights for the oppressed. God lifts up those who are beaten down.
He gives food to the hungry. He takes care of His own.
He sets the prisoners free. The chains of sin were broken at the cross.
He gives sight to the blind. Those living in darkness have seen a great light.
He lifts those who are bowed down. He offloads heavy burdens.
He loves the righteous. His love extends all the way to the cross.
He helps the helpless. He helps those who can’t help themselves.
He frustrates the wicked. He wins every time.
He reigns forever. He is the eternal King!
Father, You are the Maker of heaven and earth. Thank You for Your constant work in my life today and throughout eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
