Psalm 41:10-13  

But may you have mercy on me, LORD; raise me up, that I may repay them. I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.

“Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.” This doxology fittingly closes Book 1, the first major section of the psalms. Today is a doxology day!

Praise the Lord! For a new day. For a fresh breath of air. For shelter from the outside. For food.

Praise the Lord! For your loving spouse. For precious children and grandchildren. For encouraging friends. For helpful neighbors.

Praise the Lord! For the job you have. For the job that is coming. For providing everything you need.

Praise the Lord! For choosing you. Calling you. Transforming you. Redeeming you. Justifying you. Glorifying you. 

Praise the Lord! For His Son who died for you. For His Spirit who empowers you. For the fact that from everlasting to everlasting He is God!

Father, give me a doxology day! And I want to continue to praise You everyday! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
