He looks deeply into the heart and sees our motives and intentions. And when He sees a true servant, He smiles.
Daily Devotion
Fear or Faith
We can fill our hearts with fear convincing ourselves that Jesus doesn’t care. Or we can trust Him to calm the storm or calm us in the storm. I know it’s easier said than done, but those are our choices – fear or faith. It’s an easy answer; it’s a hard application. Let’s pray for His help.
Saving Faith
Saving faith is trusting in Jesus as the only One who can forgive our sins and place us into an eternal relationship with the living God.
The Great Commission
Wherever we go, we are never alone. Jesus is always with us . . . even to the end. That great promise is the exclamation to the Great Commission.
Significant Service
Let us remember that every act of service is significant to God.
Vertical and Horizontal
He makes the confusing clear and the complex simple. He sums up the entire Old Testament with these two commands. Now all that’s left is the application.
Free Gift of Grace
The model citizen and the murderer, the faithful spouse and the adulterous one, the missionary who gave their lives in service or the person who turns to Christ with their last breath – grace is available for all. Thank God that grace is never fair.
Everything…and Nothing
He had everything . . . and nothing . . . at the same time. And then one day, the sad old man died. They said he experienced a rich full life . . . as he experienced an empty hellish eternity. He gained the world and lost his soul.
Fine Pearls
Jesus offers you a personal relationship with Him. Are you ready to turn from the stuff you’ve been chasing and accept His free gift of eternal life?
Lighten the Load
Aren’t you ready to see what God has to teach you? It’s time to come to Jesus and find rest for your soul.
My Treasure
My “treasure” is the best tool to evaluate my “heart.” Convicting, isn’t it?
God With Us
One thing I am certain of – God is always with me. He is Immanuel, and He will be with me to the end.
